Nowadays, during knee operations, the surgeon holds a cutting tool in his hand, and the tool is supported by gravity on a simple guide rail. The aim of Ganymed Robotics is to provide a robot that limits the surgeon’s movements in the work surface, and thus improves the guidance of the surgeon’s tool.

Context

Ganymed robotics asked Kickmaker to design a test bench for testing passive actuators. The test bench had to measure the torque applied to the brake, as well as the deformation of the passive actuator via an encoder.
