Angell Bike: full industrialization

Starting from designer Ora Ito’s sketches, Kickmaker took the lead in designing and industrializing the Angell Bike, facilitating the transfer of designs to Seb’s factories for production launch. This included managing product certification for both the system and battery, as well as overseeing the industrial pre-series production at Kickmaker assembly lines.

• Conceived the bicycle frame design
• Integrated client electronics into the bicycle frame
• Produced two full-scale 3D printed POCs and aluminum tubes for client validation within one month
• Developed EVT prototypes with machined aluminum parts and aluminum tubes, resulting in five DVT prototypes for marketing demonstrations
• Oversaw the industrialization of the bike
• Set up production facilities capable of manufacturing 5,000 units per year
• Designed and industrialized the bike’s smart battery system
